But the new 'smoothflow' McEwan's Red is a long way removed from the legendary 80 Shilling sold at the equally legendary Athletic Arms -- the Diggers -- in Edinburgh. There's 80 Bob on the bar but it's a house beer brewed by Stewart's of Loanhead

Top American pale ale sets sail for Britain
