Round Corner Brewing was founded in 2018 in Melton Mowbray, a Midlands town famous for pork pies and Stilton cheese.

In its short history, the brewery has picked up an impressive number of awards from such major competitions as the European Beer Challenge, the International Brewing Awards and the World Beer Awards.

Its major beer is Steeplechase that won a gold medal in 2021 in the International Brewing Awards. The pale ale takes its name from a bizarre event in 1890 when riders dressed in pyjamas took part in a night time steeplechase when it was too dark to see the fences or ditches.

The beer is brewed with English barley malt and American and New Zealand hops. It has a pale bronze colour with orange jelly and fresh pine on the nose along with honeyed malt.

The palate is dominated by tart citrus fruit and juicy malt followed by a long bittersweet finish that ends dry, hoppy and fruity. It’s wonderfully quenching.
