Tribute Extra, St Austell

The success of St Austell Tribute has prompted the brewery to launch a new, stronger version in bottle-conditioned form at 5.2%. It’s brewed with Cornish Gold malted barley – specially grown for the brewery by farmers in the region – and Maris Otter malt. The hops are Celeia from Slovenia, English Fuggles and American Willamette. Pure Cornish spring water is used.
The beer has rich grain, pear and gooseberry fruit, spicy hops and a hint of butterscotch on the nose with juicy malt, tangy fruit and bitter hops resins in the mouth with a continuing hint of butterscotch. Fruit builds in the finish, balanced by bitter and spicy hops, sappy malt and a rich toffee note.
