Otakar Brut, Bohem

Otakar Brut is a collaboration beer brewed bhy Bohem in North London with Roger Ryman, head brewer at St Austell in Cornwall. The beer is lagered for six weeks with the German yeast strain used by St Austell to make its Korev lager.
The beer is brewed with pale lager malt and hopped with Hersbrucker, Magnum and Saaz and dry hopped at the end of fermentation with Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. It has a distinctive Sauvignon white wine nose balanced by floral hops and lemon fruit. Rich honeyed malt dominates the palate with citrus fruit notes. The finish is dry but with notes of honeyed malt, lemon fruit and floral hops.
