Top talks & tastings at Great British fest

The Great British Beer Festival at London Olympia 13-17 August will give visitors the chance to not only drink a wide selection of beers from Britain and the rest of the world but also to hear talks and tastings held by some of the leading beer writers and experts in the field. The schedule is:
Roger Protz: Champion Beers of Britain. He will conduct two tastings on Tuesday 13 August 6-7pm and Wednesday 14 August 1.30-2.30pm with the overall Champion Beer of Britain and winners of Gold in the various style categories.
300 More Beers to Try Before You. Roger will conduct a tasting of beer from his new book on Wednesday 14 August 6-7pm. He will also discuss the book and sign copies in the Bookshop on Wednesday 14 August at 2.45-3.30pm and 7.30-8.45pm.
Jane Peyton -- Nuts: About Beer. Jane will discuss and taste beers with American pistachio growers. Thursday 15 August 1.30-2.30pm.
Italian Beer: Lorenzo Dabove (right) and Luca Giaccone. Thursday 15 August 6-7pm.
Jeff Evans: Good Bottled Beer. Friday 16 August 1-2pm and 5-6pm. Jeff will discuss and taste beers from the new edition of his Good Bottled Beer Guide.
