Great British Beer Festival 3rd-7th August 2004

The Great British Beer Festival is the major UK celebration of real beer, with over 450 real ales from all over Great Britain on tasting, from the smallest microbrews to some of Britains best-known beers. You can also sample ciders, perrys and world beers.

I will be very much in the thick of the action, including Chairing the judges panel for the bottled beer competition and leading tutored tastings of the Champion Beers of Britain on the Tuesday and Wednesday evenings (ticket information below).

The Festival is not only a great way to taste a fantastic range of beers in a convivial atmosphere with plenty of beer-related entertainment, but it supports the efforts of real beer producers and CAMRA into the bargain. I hope to see you there.
