It's good to have this seasonal ale back from Batemans of Wainfleet in Lincolnshire. The family brewery celebrated 150 years of producing "Good Honest Ales" in 2024 and is still going strong with a fine range of beers available in 50 pubs.
Managing director Stuart Bateman says the beer bridges fhe gap between West Coast and East Coast styles in the United States. It's brewed with pale malt and hopped with Summit, Sabra and Idaho-7 varieties.
It's available on draught in Bateman's pubs and is also in bottle. It has a rich honeyed malt backbone with orange, lemon and lime fruit. The finish is hoppy, fruity and refreshing.
