Glastonbury Ales makes good use of local legends and scenery with such beers as Lady in the Lake and Tor.
The brewery was founded in 2002 and moved to a larger site in 2018. The founders have worked in collaboration with publicans, farmers and herbalists to create cask, craft keg and bottled beers packed with rich flavours to suit current tastes.
The brewery has won top awards from SIBA and Taste of the West and exports to several countries as well as selling widely in Britain.
Voodoo is a session IPA and the bottled version is bottle conditioned. It’s brewed with pale malt and Cascade and Centennial hops. It has a pale gold colour and a big fruity aroma balanced by spicy hops. The palate is a blend of juicy malt, spicy hops and citrus fruit followed by a bittersweet finish with tart fruit, spicy hops and honeyed malt.
