Vintage Ale 2024 (8.5 per cent)
The latest Vintage Ale from Fuller’s is brewed with pale malt and crystal extra dark malt. The hops are Emperor, Pilot and a new variety currently known as CF299. It was bred in Kent but cultivated in the United States.
The beer was brewed in February and conditioned until July when it was bottled with fresh yeast.
It has caramel, raisins, fruit cake and peach on the aroma and flavour with an orange note from the Fuller’s house yeast.
It costs £7 a bottle in selected Tesco and Waitrose stores or from the Fuller’s online shop.
If possible, buy more than one and lay some bottles down. The 1999 vintage tastes superb!
