This winter beer from Orbit is a fine example of the beers brewed in London in the 18^th and 19^th century – its quality won it two top SIBA awards in 2022.

Orbit, based in South London, was founded in 2014 to recreate authentic European beers styles such as lager and Kölsch but it has widened its range to include British beers as well.

The Porter is brewed with Maris Otter pale, amber and brown malts along with roasted barley. The hops are Challenger, Celeia and Bobek.

The beer is suitable for vegans and has a rich chocolate, butterscotch and caramel aroma, with black treacle notes on the palate with spicy and fruity hops making an appearance. The finish is dry, earthy, with roasted grain balancing spicy hops.
