@Vince Cable we need #MRO. #BIS plan not enough to #SaveOurPubs

This is what I nearly tweeted into the twittershere to cover the dismay,  disappointment and the damn near disillusionment I felt when I read what @bisgovuk have 'given' us, the #TiedPublicans. Let's put this into my perspective as I am a #TiedPublican, and I represent #Publicans after all...

We have had;

3 House of Commons debates all voting unanimously for a #MarketRentOnly option ,

4 All Parliamentary Select Committee reports that found the need for #MarketRentOnly option,

A #PubcoReform consultation, the most replied to consultation BIS have ever run, that also revealed that over 2/3's of the respondents supported a #MarketRentOnly option,

Decades of #Churn by the #Pubcos, all documented and published, shouted about, cried over and frowned upon by all, @ukparliament included, and it has culminated into.....

#NOT ENOUGH,

by any stretch of the biggest of imagination.....

YET.....

Notice that little 3 letter word sneaked in at the end there? "Yet".....it's a powerful little word, especially when it is said to all those that dismissed and decried all that #Publicans set out to do and have achieved so far.

Oh, they have tried to get us to believe that legislation was not going to happen and that ours is a lost cause but we haven't cried into our #UKBeers and we are not about to start now.

Can you imagine...???

What if the misinformation and propoganda of the #PubcoMouthgpiece, the BBPA, had not been so deftly dismissed with evidence and argument, or if the #PubcoPuppets had been left to share their poison unchallenged? #We'dNotBeHereNow

So, ALL, forward, onward, upward and please do scream cos now the ride gets faster and far more fun.

We need, want and WILL achieve , with the help of all the #PubFriends nationally,

#MarketRentOnly

and

material and meaningful change which will deliver the #PubcoReforms that @bisgovuk promised and #UKPubs, #TiedPublicans, and their #Communities deserve.
